Special meeting (12th March) & the PTA Constitution

As mentioned in our second newsletter, we are holding a special meeting to agree the PTA’s constitution.

This is a hugely important document for the PTA as this will allow us to gain charity status – so all the lovely dosh collected and raised through events will all go to helping and improving the school!

Please join us in the studio at 3:15pm on Tuesday 12th March to either agree or disagree to the attached.

Red Nose Day Bake Sale! Friday 15th March

We’re holding a bake sale on Friday 15th March to raise money for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day. We’ll have a table under the canopy in the playground between 3 & 3.30pm, then we’ll be moving to the reception area from 4pm for those picking up from Games Club. Come along and buy a cake and support Comic Relief!

If you’re a baker, we’d be very grateful for donated bakes – savoury or sweet – to sell. Please remember: no nuts due to school policy. You can drop them at the school office on the morning of Friday 15th, or bring them to our stall between 2.30 & 2.45pm.

Thank you!

Our first PTA Coffee morning! + future coffee morning dates

GUYS!! Thank you SO much for making our first PTA coffee morning such a success.

There was coffee to kick start a Monday morning, homemade cake, enough biscuits to send all the toddlers on an all-day sugar trip, and lots of lovely parents and carers to meet.

So, the GOOD NEWS – they’ll be happening on the first Monday of every month (or second if there’s a bank holiday, in the Nurture Room by the nursery.

Here are the dates for your diary:

Monday 1 April
Monday 13 May
Monday 3 June
Monday 1 July

Please come, chat, eat cake – bring your friends and children – and find out more about the PTA and our exciting future plans.

It would be lovely to meet you 😊

First PTA Coffee Morning on Monday 4th March

We’d love to see you all at the very first PTA coffee morning next Monday, 4th March just after drop-off. We’ll be in the Nurture Room, which is the new building beside the Nursery, from 8.50 – 10.15am.

It’s an opportunity to meet us, find out more about the PTA and what we’re planning, as well as meeting other parents and carers, have a cuppa and a chat. Everyone is welcome, including younger children and babies.  There’s no charge for refreshments, but instead we’re asking for a small donation, so bring along your change.

We’ll be holding a coffee morning on the first Monday of each month when school is open. Keep an eye out for further dates.

We look forward to seeing you!
