A very big thank you to all the creative bakers who donated, to all the PTA volunteers and to all the parents, carers, staff and pupils who came and made the Halloween bake sale such a huge success.
We raised just over £370 which is amazing.

Please join us for the Annual General Meeting in the Studio at Heavers Farm, between 6-7pm on Wednesday 5th October.
Find out what the PTA do; join, volunteer and support. All parents, staff and teachers, welcome.

Thank you to everyone who made the summer fayre possible on Saturday, and to everyone who attended – you’ve raised over £2000 for our school community!
The rain held off, Woodside Fire Service came and generously showed the children around the fire engine. There were stories told, yoga and taekwondo practiced, dreamcatchers, biscuits & bags made, faces painted, hands henna’d, books sold, games played, food eaten and drinks drunk. Plus dancing, bouncing on the bouncy castle and many things sold by our entrepreneurial year 6’s…!
Prizes were won on the day in the tombola (thank you all again for your wonderful donations!), and after school today, the winning raffle and spin-the-wheel tickets were drawn. Winners have been contacted by the PTA, and prizes can be collected from the school office.
We hope you had a great time, and that you have managed to check out the new scooter and bike racks your previous donations have funded, which were installed last week.
Thank you all again, but especially to all the parents, carers and staff who volunteered their time to put on the event, thank you, we couldn’t have done it without you.
We’re looking forward to seeing you today at the Heavers Farm PTA Summer Fayre!

This Friday 17th June is a mufti (wear-your-own-clothes) day at school. In return for being able to wear your own clothes, we ask that you bring in a prize for the tombola, to support the PTA’s summer fayre. It could be a bottle of bubble bath, a box of chocolates, a teddy, something for the home or garden, or just something else you’d love to win yourself.
So: bring in a prize and you get to wear your own clothes on Friday (forecast to be the hottest day of the year so far!) – hooray!
If you don’t have a prize, please bring in £1.
